20 Dollar Whore comes from eastern Finland, from a small town called Kouvola. Their story begins one summer night in 2000, when three dropout teenagers are doing amphetamine, drinking beer, smoking weed, watching porno movies, and listening to garage punk records. Due to the strong medication, they can't sleep, so they start to write stupid songs at 4 am. Make up 5 of them, record the songs, and because the guy in the studio wants to make it sound like some fuckin' radio-friendly-college-rock-band they end up mixing the whole thing by themselves and that's how "Teenage Fuckin' Boredom" 7" EP on BIG NECK RECORDS was born. One of the guys came up with the name 20 Dollar Whore and the rest is history.
