The Radio Beats began playing in late 2002, splitting their time between Wheeling, WV and Pittsburgh, PA. Drawing on the attitude and snarl of their heroes The Devil Dogs along with the blown-out production of numerous garage-punk masterpieces, they play wild, fast garage-punk with plenty of hooks and a ton of attitude. They have two singles, a self-released split with Ohio's The Give-Ups released for their 2002 Midwest/East Coast tour and their new slab on Big Neck Records that fully realizes how hard they can hit you and leave you wanting more. Plans are being finalized to record their debut CD/LP on Big Neck with Steve Baise at the boards.
